Phil and Brenda have been an active part of the Tuscarawas community for more than 30 years. Brenda, was born and raised in Berlin, Ohio. Her father grew up Amish and was the youngest of 7 children. She grew up a mile from her Amish grandparents and spent much of her young life playing with her cousins on their grandparents farm. Those memories of simpler times have given her a deep appreciation for her community and the peace & beauty that can be found in the hills of Holmes and Tuscarawas County.  She is proud of her Amish heritage and the values it instilled into her life.

Brenda met Phil in 1989 when they were in college at Malone University. They married in 1993 and put down roots in Sugarcreek. They have 3 adult children (along with an amazing daughter-in-law & soon to be son-in-law) who have also put down roots in the area and share their love for their community. The Gebhardt's are proud of their hometown and love sharing it with others. They have loved sharing their cottage with guests and are very excited to launch Yellowbrick Market  and provide another wonderful attraction for locals, visitors and their cottage-guests to enjoy!! They would love for you to stop by and say "hi" in September or October of 2022!
